Lug wear is a problem in all machinery and equipment. Once the lugs begin to wear, the wear process accelerates and the holes become oval. This impacts the efficiency and stability of the machine. Welding and line boring is expensive, time consuming and temporary – wear will appear again.

After installing the Expander®System, future problems and expensive repairs are eliminated.

Downtime is minimized because most of the Expander installations are done on-site in a fraction of the time needed for line boring saving time and money.

After replacing the bushings or bearings, the Expander® System can be installed directly in the worn lugs.

When the fasteners are tightened, the washers press the expansion sleeves up the tapered ends of the axle.

The sleeves expand and conform to the wear pattern to lock the Expander® System in the lugs.
